Gouache is an underrated medium and is often the unsung hero of aqueous works. I wanted to generate brushes that accurately capture the semi-opaque quality of the medium that also offer more forgiveness than watercolor. Similar to my watercolor brushes, these rely on pen pressure to fully realize their utility.

FEATURES

Perfect opacity
Make a stroke with consistent pressure to create a solid wash. Varying the pressure in a stroke will render different textures and values.

Keep your head in the clouds
These were named after cloud formations, storms, and other vaporous phenomena to frame their features. Language can be constrictive to an artist's processes, so hopefully this cute naming convention inspires creativity.
